If youve caught it, there is no known cure. welcome.

You live pretty close to a major orchid hub. Just west of Chicago, there is a group of some big names in the orchid world. They are: Oak Hill Gardens, Windsong Orchids, Orchids by Hausermann, and Natt's Orchids. These 4 places also get together each year, and host what is called
Chicagoland Orchidfest.

If i lived closer to Oak Hill (one of my favorites...lots of species, seed propagated, good prices) id be in deep doodoo $$$.

This would be the time to step back and figure out what you are going to do with 25 orchids all at once. Where will they sit? How will you water them? Do you need to rent a separate apartment for you and you other stuff? Or...?

Just kidding. Sort of.

Ahhh... sorry took me a few days to come back here.

I will do the suggestion on the pebbles for the phals.

The center orchid is a non issue... but just fyi... the orchid was in a clear plastic pot within a ceramic pot which was placed in that decorative pot.. there was some foam looking spacer on the bottom... looked to be about 2 inches high so there was plenty of drainage.

But... since the florist finally admited to sending the wrong one, they came and exchanged it for this one...
