i was soo excited, and i think i can safely say, ive been an addict for a long time lol

i cant beleive it! but i called asiatica and im going back on friday to get healthy plants, ill be sure to inspect them thoroughly.

btw, do ants like mealies?

Might depend on the type of ant. Though apparently the Australian Ladybird (Cryptolaemus montrouzieri) likes to munch on mealy bugs.
Wonder if the standard ladybird would do the same?.

They will treat them like Aphids (or "Ant Cattle" as I like to call them). Protecting the mealies from predators and parasites.

I know it's possible in the UK to buy "resident" Ladybird larvae. Not sure about over the pond? But it would be worth checking out, especially if your not fond of the chemical options of pest control.

you can buy lady beetle larvae, but i already exchanged the plants, and the new ones are nice.
