I wanted something different for my collection, I found it, I bought it, and now what? I don't know what to do with it. How do you care for this one. ? It's blooming, in Spag, with 10 flowers. Someone must have this pretty little face. Please help
Hi: I have its "sister" (probably) Alcra. Pacific Nova 'Butter Buds'. Mine is in bark, badly in need of repotting and will probably bloom this summer. I have it hanging from a line strung between two trees so it gets good light and I feed it "weekly, weakly" as I do its companion, similar plants. It spends the winter in my GH. I have a Brs. Roy Toyonaga, a NOID and another similar species blooming or spiking. I don't believe these are difficult plants to grow and bloom.

Do you see where I live? Temps daytime in mid 90's summer. Nighttime 75-85 or so. Last winter we had an exceptionally cold winter. It got to 32 1/2 in the GH and everything, including the Phals were OK.
Just don't let it get too much direct sun. The conventional wisdom, as I understand it, is that the thin leaved plants tolerate less sun. Morning or late afternoon sun but not midday in our climates.
