No
lodigessi is a semi-deciduous Den and likes to be mounted and when mounted it needs a lot of water.
Too much nitrogen will cause numerous keiki.
It is a beautiful plant when it is large but a bit touchy getting there.

I have a small potted Den lodigessi which seems to be doing OK (I've only had it since the spring as part of the spring project here on OB). It's growing new canes and roots though which is a good sign.
Mine is potted in a fine bark and peat mix which I find kind of odd but that's what it came in and it seems happy. I'm watering when it starts just starts drying out.
I have it in my green house which gets quite bright light and whatever temps it is outside (quite warm at the momment). It was the cool growing project this spring so I guess temps should be on the lower side.

To me the price would be fantastic for an almost specimen sized soft cane den. You would pay around $60+ for one that size in Oz.

I grow mine mounted. It really grows fastest when it's warmer, like right now. I don't really grow mounted plants that well, so must be fairly forgiving.
