Cattleya with two leaves?
Why does cattleya sometimes put out two leaves per pb? Sorry if this is a silly question.

Some orchids are unifoliate which means it produces one leaf per bulb. Others are known as bifoliate meaning two leaves.
What orchid do you have?

mine seems to have single/double leaves depending on the bulb...

when they are a mix of the two types of speicies they will do this I have one does this when smaller and as it grew larger went to one leaf only
