Default Odd behavior!!

Still haven't been in this hobby long enough not to see things for the 1st time, so this is a 1st for me, I had some buds open several weeks ago, 3 of those closed back up, partially!! they been that way for sometime, they don't appear to be dying, any of you seen this before?

I think they look like they are peloric.

This is when the petals mimic the lip either to a greater or lesser extent. One of the features you sometimes see with that is that the petals curve in like that.

I've seen one before where some of the flowers showed this trait and not others. I've also heard that plants that are fully peloric in one flowering can flower normally next time... while other phals are peloric every time they flower.

yes it is peloric for sure ...and it can from what I understand happen siome times and not others

Yes I see, oddly enough, this plant has 2 spikes, on 1 spike the flowers are fully open and on the other spike they have the closed petals.
