Default need help ASAP

My hubby came home today with a new phal for our anniversary. The phal is beautiful but I noticed something i have never seen before.

The roots are healthy (what I can see), there is a baby leaf coming out but I noticed black spots around the crown and on the leaf. There is also bumps on one leaf.

i have attached photos, can anyone help me with what it is and how to take care of it?

thanks

To me it all looks like some kind of physical damage that happened to the leaf as it was developing. Unless you see the symptoms spreading or on the next new leaf I wouldn't worry about it.

The spots on the 'stem' part are pretty normal, lots of my phals have them, same with the bumps. The black mark looks like a old injury with some scar tissue, and it isn't something to worry about unless it spreads.

Overall, the plant seems healthy, and just has some of the usual wear and tear!

I am not surprised that everyone was stumped. i spent hours on the net looking for this but I couldn't.
I first thought it was due to a pest then I thought it was fungal.
I thought fungal because of the black spots, or rot actually.
The baby leaf does have the spots as well.

very strange.
thanks for all the help.
