N00B question about paphs
Default N00B question about paphs

I just got a paph hybrid and the notes included talk about a couple of things that i just dont understand, the first says "we push our paphs with water, not fertilizer" anyone know what that means?

Also i have read that you will not get a new inflorescence out of an old growth, you have to wait until a new growth occurs....in this context what does "growth" mean? is this a new leaf?

Thanks!

It sounds like maybe they (whoever "they" are) water more than fertilize or fertilize weakly. Maybe check with them for clarification.

Paphs grow new fans of leaves as they mature over time. They only bloom once off of each fan of leaves. These "fans" are the growths.
