Default unexcpected cell collapse [?]

HI, i have a nice phal that i just bloomed its last bud and only bud ( it was a rescue). i brought it into my living room for display, and then a day later, it looks like cell collapse in the leaves. please help, see pics

STILL HAS NIVE GROWING TIPS ON ROOTS THOUGH.

the plant in the foreground? I don't see it
The foliage looks a bit droopy tho. If the roots are good, I don't know why. Hopefully someone will be able to better help

its the top leaf on the right. it feels and looks thinner, and you can fell the vein things in that leaf and the one underneath it, but the other side is fine. the one in the back has it too but that unrelated

My thoughts exactly, Philip. The root system certainly looks healthy and airy, so plant dehydration from under-watering seems to be the likely culprit.

My Phals act like this when they're between bloom and growth phase. I'd remove the bloom spike.

i water it when its gets almost dried out. so its ussually about once a week.

My thoughts exactly...if I see a plant in distress and something simple doesn't perk it up in a day or two, I sacrifice the blooms/spike and do a series of "rescue stuff".
I'm sure we all have our thing we do: repot, treat with XXX etc.
I have the unfortunate history of doing this more frequently than I'd care to admit
