Hi Elsa, I am also from Bangalore and new to orchid growing. I grow my orchids on an East facing balcony like you and this gets bright sun till around 12:00 noon. I was watering every day in the summer and
misting twice but now that it is cloudy and cooler am watering alternate days. I fertilise
weekly weakly with NPK 19-19-19. Dendrobiums, from what I have read, do well in bright sun, so an East facing location should be good.
