When I went to water my Phal today, I noticed this:
What does this mean? And is this bad? The side that this yellow is on is the side that always faces the window (I have my phal in a north-facing window).
Other than that the leaves look great. They probably need a bit more humidity though. Would low humidity cause the yellowing?
It may not be as bad as it looks, although I would check the roots as Philip suggests to make sure.
I had one do something very similar and it turned out to just be one leaf dying. In my case there were several roots emerging near where the leaf joined the plant and it seems they just strangled off the leaf. I was really worried at the time because usually it is the lowest leaf which will fall.
But as I said, best to still check what is going on with the roots.
Hey guys, check out my pic again. See those little black spots? I just noticed them today. What are those??!! I examined the leaves and a few other leaves have one or two small spots. Is it a fungus? I'm so worried. I checked out the roots and they're actually better than when I bought the plant in April.

No I am not misting, and any time water gets on the leaves from watering I wipe them off.
