At your current dosage of 1 tbsp, you're feeding your plants roughly 240ppm N. That seems like a lot.
Hi Camille,

I don't have any idea about that ppm thing, thank you for that informative suggestion.

One thing I forgot, how often are you feeding your plants though? If you do it only every couple of weeks then it's not really bad. If you fertilize almost every watering, then you run the risk of burning the roots.

In general it seems recommended to fertilize 'weakly weekly',(rather than the binge and starve method) and 125ppm (parts per million) of nitrogen is usually the target.

Here's some useful info on fertilizing if you're interested:
Your Feeding Regimen
There's other useful stuff in the 'free info' section in general.

Here is the calculator I use, on Ray's site. It's at the bottom of the page. Plug in your target amount of nitrogen and the nitrogen contained in the fert, and it will tell you how much to add. Fertilizer PPM Calculator

Hi Camille,

I use s/h so it means when I put water on the pot with fertilizer and superthrive it will stay there as long as the reservoirs is not empty. and I usually feed my plants once a week.

If you fertilize once a week, you might want to consider reducing the dose of fertilizer. Are you flushing out the pots with plain water periodically?

Yes, What I usually do is these:

1. I mix the fertilizer in one gallon of water, but now I will add the superthrive with the mix.
2. Before putting the mix in the pot, I will have it cleaned first with plain water. I let the water runs until the water is clean. I do it for at least 5 minutes of flushing.
3. I put the water with fertilizer mix, usually the water in the reservoir last for 4 days and on the 5th day I add a little amount of fresh water and repeat the procedure(step 1-3) on the 7th day.
