The dried bloom spikes are at the tip of the stem. I will have to look and see if there's another name on the tag beside den.

It's likely a phal type den - tho there are others that bloom from the top of the cane. How big are the new growths? I have seen some of my Catts start new growth horizontally, but after a bit they start growing upwards ...
