Smile Dendro Blooming In Spite of Me

I have done everything there is to do wrong with this plant (dendro nobile 'Frosty Dawn') and in spite of everything it has rewarded me with a single bloom on last years cane, and that same cane also has an additional bud developing. I didn't know dendros needed a winter nap, so continued to water through the winter. I didn't feed any of my plants from Nov-Mar. I also repotted it in the fall after it finished blooming. It's actually overpotted, but I didn't have a smaller pot at the time. The new cane it sent out last spring has not bloomed yet, not sure if it will at this point. The plant is growing new baby roots like crazy. As soon as the color develops a little more in the flower I'll post a pic. The fragrance is wonderful.
