Default Brown Ball Formation on top of Shapnum Moss

What is this?

My guess is that it is feces of a giant bug/larva/worm. The ball measures 5-7 mm across and it seems to be mainly composed of dead moss judging by the color of it. Furthrmore, the plant is growing wuite healthy and no sign of root rot or roots getting eaten by this bug. This ball ussually shows up in the morning, 2-3 at a time, so I assume the bug is active at night time. I only notice fungus gnats but nthing big flying around. Its a scary tought because I hate to see giant worm dwelling on my favorite phals.

Can anyone help me ID this thing and how to solve this problem? thanks.

I would guess you have an un-invited guest living in (and possibly on) your spagnum moss.
A little careful digging may unearth the culprit.
You can be sure it is there for it's benefit rather than yours.

I'm inclined to agree with Baz, looks very similar to a Slug/Snail eggs to me.

The tought of having such a big bug in it sends me a cold shiver..., I really have to see giant magots living in my most beautiful phal.

It is flowering at its peak right now and at its most beautiful stage. I dont want to ruin the flower, but at the same time I am really concerned about the roots. I am not ready to repot it yet due to material shortage. I don't have the pot and don't have enough LECA to put it in SH. I will stay up late tonight and see if I can see this thing active at night.

You could try immersing the pot in water for a while to see what pops up.
