Thought you guys might like to see my orchid kitchen. Good use for an old shelving unit I thought!

And some of the happy individual inhabitants

Hope you like it!

I love it--who needs those pesky kitchen curtains
All your plants are beautiful.
What is the name of the yellow phal in the "happy individual inhabitants" section?

Sadly Joann, it's a noid. I bought it in a florist shop last week. It was $50 but it was so lovely I couldn't resist it.

What a great set-up! The curtain rod/hanging basket holder is such a great idea.

Looking good!

Thanks everyone!

I spend a fair bit of my day in the kitchen so it's a good place to have my orchids that are either flowering or that need special attention. Also the Cat's make the kitchen smell heavenly.

It is a pleasure to do washing up when I can just look at my orchids and not think about the dishes.

It is also the only room in the house that gets a good amount of sunshine and the orchids seem to love it.
