I've told my hubby that I want an orchid house but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears. He's a workaholic and an accountant.......bad combination! LOL No time and doesn't want to spend the money! hehe!

Rosiefuture - Just wanted to say how jealous I am of your HUGE kitchen window not to mention the beautiful display of orchids you have set up in it. Next place my husband and I move has to have a kitchen window.

Wow Marion! What a great set up! My kitchen isn't set up this way, but if it were I'd definitely turn it into an orchid area. A great way to watch your Chids while you work! hehe

My wife is neither of those things... I mean she works hard sure, but she likes her down time, too.

My plants and plant-related things just seem to show up. hehe. She doesn't argue... how can she? The place is full of beautiful plants and blooms!

Awesome idea! I never thought of using window space like that. HAHA now I am thinking of ways to built a shelf for my bedroom window. Thanks for the idea.
