Ha!! My collection... Hmmm....I think it's right about at 60ish or 70sh I think. A lot of them are miniatures so it's not difficult.

Like Ted, I feed every time I water (100-125 ppm N), but do so with all plants, not just those in S/H.
It seems to me that if your plants are being exposed to rain, they will be "ultra flushed" and will need to be fed more often to compensate for the washing out by the rain.

For the plants I put outside, I make packets of dynamite fertilzer pellets out of coffee filters and twist tie them to the pots. It works out very well for me and I do't worry about them pretty much all summer.

Bev, they sell it at Home Depot. It comes in a tall red can with a shaker top. They also make a time released formula, and I think that's what he's using.
