I have been following some treads on potting and they refer to s/h. What is it?

s/h is the use of a inert medium to grow plants in as pot that has a resavior of water in the lower section.

there is a forum here on the Ob about it in detail

S/H is short for Semi-Hydroponics. As Jonh said it uses an inert media to hold the plant in place. There is a section here on OB. Here is a link to the site that got me hooked on it.
