Well I wasn't willing to resort to "heroic measures" to try to save this plant, but was willing to water it if the roots looked good. I don't know how long I would have been willing to do that ...
Was curious to see if it could recover in any way

Wow, great news.

I tried doing the same with one and the roots just gave up and died as well, great to see that it IS possible to save one in that condition.

Nice growing. Now just be careful because you have a small plant in a large pot, and you don't want to overwater all that medium.
