Default Roots on repotted phal

Hi again OB,

I repotted my first phal about a couple of months ago and just wanted your opinion on how the roots a doing, the plant looks really healthy and i just want to keep a good check on it, as this first phal means a lot to me.

Your plant looks great. You did a good repot job.

Water when the roots go white/silvery color (don't overdo it). As long as you have those thick upright leaves you know it's happy.

You should start to see new root nubs pretty soon.

Looks like a good job. The bark looks good quality too which is really important in repotting.

It was general purpose orchid mix from orchid accessories, i use orchid focus feed for blooming, should i use some KLN rooting solution too? as i will get some.

Have people had good results with this?

I like 'Orchid Accessories', they do good media. I buy from them but I buy seperate things then do my own mixes. I think their mixes are the same stuff, just mixed by them before sale.

I'm not sure about KLN. I've tried it but no conclusively got any results. I actually think luke-warm water had more effect for me. I used luke-warm water for two weeks before adding KLN as well... the Phal in question started rooting before the KLN went in the mix. The KLN could have had some effect, I'm just not sure.
