Hey Tropicgirl!! my goodness, you should have seen all those poor plants, I wanted to ask for the manager and complain, but someone stepped in a told me not to make a scene, I don't need to tell you who I am sure. and during mothers day Orchids were very much in short demand, yet there at The Home Depot sat all those abused plants, there was not a single good plant in the bunch, I sure like to know what idiot had all those Orchids put out in that hot sun, I think he should be shot.

And what makes it even worse is they don't offer these abused orchids at a discount, they just throw them in the garbage! At least the Lowes near me takes 50% off the price for orchids out of bloom but sometimes they are also put in direct sun (the clearance table is outside of the shade cloth). I try to check regularly so I can get a good price on unburned orchids but it never fails to be the biggest, most beautiful orchid that has been put on the top shelf and scorched!

If you're not sure then it's a nubbin. Once you know what it is then it's not a nubbin anymore.
