Green circles on my unknown orchid

Hi, everyone

Im still very new at growing of orchids and i have a small collection including some dens, cattleyas, phals, and a vanda. I recently acquired one that im not sure what it is. It wasnt brought to me in a pot and after trying to stabalize unsuccesfully in different mediums it finally began to shoot new roots when it attached it a tree in my garden. It looks like a dendrobium to me but i just notice these lighter green circles near the roots. I have no idea what it might be. they arent exactly seperating from the stem like my other dens but they have a distinct sort of edge. Ive attached some pics hopefully someone can help identify this orchid (ive never seen its blooms) and explain the green spots that are only near the roots.,

you have a dendrobium. the circles are the nodes that new growth will come from.

It looks like an eye for a new growth to me. You are correct that it is some sort of Dendrobium. Most likely a Phal type.

Yeah, I agree. Looks like a Den and that circle looks like a node to me.
