Not 100%, but this Government does tend to have Knee Jerk Reactions to anything that may be considered detrimental.
Take Health and Safety for example, far too Restrictive.... What ever happened to "It's Your Own Fault" and "Take responsibility for your own actions" ? *Sigh*

And of course The British Press Love to get their hands on stories involving Companies (or people in general) who are not "Ethical" shall we say.
