doritaenopsis - a cross with a doritis and a phalaenopsis. It looks just like a phalaenopsis only smaller and the care is pretty much the same. Great for small spaces! Enjoy....

I heard they were all lumped together into one alliance too.
I can understand why the AOS would lump them all together since the hybrids look the same.
Now is that just the AOS' choice or did it taxonomists choose to lump them together as well?

I thought dtps have slightly different lip, without 'moustache'. Am I right?

Okay, so I'm a little confused, yes, again! I was trying to find more info on my Phal, Everspring King x minho princess. What I did find on the internet was dtps minho princess. So my dumb question is: do I automatically assume that my cross is with a dtps minho princess? or a regular minho princess?

dtps minho princess is the same thing as phal minho princess.
Some vendors have not converted their names to phals yet.
Phal Everspring King x minho princess you may expect to get a very beautiful harlequins. This cross can vary though (unless it is a mericlone).
