Izzie, those flowers look beautiful! I would definitely be in danger of breaking the bank if I went there.

What an experience though! All those gorgeous orchids in one place. Wow!

Too bad I live half way across the country.

Thank you! I was so impressed!
I used to have relatives in NY that you could have flown over with, but no more.
I'm sure you have a good greenhouse near you?

I've been doing some on line searching and there are a few near Rochester (about 3 hours away).

I'm planing on going to at least one this summer if I can find someone to go with me.

I'm a little afraid to buy another orchid though until I get my phals healthy again. I hate to buy something that beautiful just to kill it!

I've been reading up on Paphs though and I think that will be my next orchid when I'm ready to take the plunge.

I'm in a similar situation- I've finally come to terms with the fact that oncidiums hate me- or my house, at least.
If all else fails- Fantasy Orchids ships- and I've heard great things about their procedure.

I think that's a fair price, I've only seen it once before and that was the price marked. I'm going to look for this one at Redlands, maybe I can find a bargain.
