It is an awesome place. I have been going there over the past 6 years and loving every minute of it. They all know my name. Did you get on the mailing lists? They will send you times when they have discounts and other things going on.

What part of CO are you in?
It's a good thing that I'm an hour away, otherwise my paychecks would be in dire danger.

Wow! I will agree, my paycheck would certainly suffer if I lived near that greenhouse! I have one orchid grower in my area and they sell mainly Catts and Vandas, they don't have anywhere near the selection that Fantasy Orchids has. I have a friend that's been dying for that Chocolate Drop!
BTW-I think your pictures look pretty good.

I like the ones fighting for the front!

Thanks, the pictures definitely look out of focus- now that I know to resize/configure them before I upload, I'll do that in the future. I did that for the pics I posted of the plants I bought and they look better.

How exciting to know that I actually have a fantastic vendor near me! I didn't know what to expect.

That Chocolate Drop really spoke to me- it was SUCH a healthy plant, lots of new leads even while it was blooming. I think it was around $35 in a 4-5" pot, don't know if that's good or not.

I had a pretty bad experiance with an order I received from them after Christmas; two of the plants lacked anything resembling viable roots. The ALCRA Mervyn Grant ended up pulling through, but the Onc Sharry Baby still hasn't fully recovered
