Brown tips on Cymbidium orchids
I recently purchased a Cymbidium orchid and it was doing great for about a month then this weekend I notice most of the blooms were turning brown on the tips and a few leaves were also turning brown on the tips. I have been watering it about once a week. Is there possibly too much salt build up or not enough fertilizer? Help Please!

Hello and welcome to the Orchid Board.
Is it possible to post a picture of your plant?

What's your fertilizer regimen?
What kind of fertilizer are you using?
NPK ratio please.
Are you using tap water, RO/DI, distilled water, or rainwater?
If you're using tap water, do you know the concentration of dissolved minerals in it?
How often do you water?
How long have the flowers been in bloom?
How long have you had the plant?
Did you purchase the plant in bloom or did you bloom the plant out?

I water once a week with tap water and I have not used any fertilizer since I purchased the plant. The flowers were already fully bloomed when I got the plant about 2 months ago. The blooms have been falling off the plant this week.

I don't think there is particularly anything wrong with your Cym, although I'm new to these as well.
Mine dropped a whole spike of buds then another spike opened and were fine a few weeks later. I think it might not like it too warm as they are more of a cool growing one which finds standard house temperatures too warm.
Mine was inside while flowering, it also got some brown tips but I am not to worried as it is growing new lead growths and now I have moved it in to the greenhouse they do not seem to be spreading.
As I said above I'm also new to these, so just sharing my experience with the one I bought at the end of last year.

Amirali, this is a really old post, so you are more likely to get answers on the new thread you started. It's usually best to start new ones, generally folks miss new ones on old threads.
