Refreshing mounted Trigonidium obtusum?

hi!
this little orchid has been neglected but it still seems well mounted; the moss has dried out and i would like to know if i should strap on a bit more, maybe closer to the roots? also, any advice for watering would be appreciated! (do i soak the whole thing?)
