Plastic pots can be fine for orchids BUT they MUST have holes in. You did the right thing to get it in to a pot with a hole in the bottom.
As Ted has said you will need to be very careful because the moss/bark mix will dry slower than the plain bark arround it, which could lead to the center staying too wet and the roots rotting.
I would probably leave it for now but be very careful about watering. Probably use a wodden skewer which you can stick in to the center to see how wet it is. Once it has finished flowering you can then change the media completely.
