I often dream of walking barefoot in my yard. Even during the winter while they are dormant, if you step on a mound they will pour out and getcha!

hissing cockroaches!! if 1 got up on its hind legs and hissed at me I am sure I would have nightmares, do you know those things can fly in the Philippines? at night they look like hummingbirds buzzing around, but not quite that big, I got a home run 1 night with a cockroach sitting outside, I seen the beast coming in for a landing to damn close to me, so I got a stick and batted it good..

I think my problem is I am completely oblivious the bugs. I've been to Africa and the middle east.... mosquitos are the height of what I would consider. Last year we were in Sweden and I saw a snake in the grass and screamed. I was told "of course we have snakes in Sweden" This was promptly followed up with a snigger and a muttered "we didnt all have St. Patrick"!!!!.

I love your flowers, the purple is beautiful. I am going to buy some more at lunch. To treat myself.

Actually I was told that he wouldnt mind if I did that Woo hoo more flowers for me too. We have lizards in Ireland. Apparently living in bogs. We have cockroaches too, being imported and there has been a huge increase. Thank god I have never seen any of them, hissing or otherwise.

I had to google that one. You'd never believe what I found. Check this out!

Giant Madagascar Hissing Cockroach — Luxist

I wonder how many Hollywood fashionista's will ditch their teacup Chihuahuas for these little critters! I think I'd rather remain unfashionable! Gives me the willies just thinking about having one of those crawl all over me. Bleah!
