Default New 'chids I picked up this weekend!

I attended my very first orchid show this past weekend! The displays were beautiful and there were so many unusual orchids. There weren't as many vendors as I was hoping for but my wallet was happy about that! I did manage to find a few new additions:

Blc. Nippon Flag 'Dogashima'
Bardendrum (Epi. secundum x Barkeria skinneri)
C. lueddemanniana 'Crownfox Snow' HCC x C. Snow Blind 'Mike's Snow'

On the way home, I just couldn't resist stopping by our local Home Depot. And, of course, there were a few I just had to have:

Phal. Ping Tung Gold
Paph. (Makuli-Curtisii) Maudiae x Paph. Maudiae 'Napa Valley' HCC/AOS x sib
(Paph. Supersuk 'Eureka' AM/AOS x Paph. Raisin Pie 'Hsinying') x sib
Lc. Trick or Treat x sibling

I have pictures of them all in my photo album. If I've messed up the names at all (capitol letters, parenthesis and such) please let me know so I can correct and learn. I think these names are the hardest part of the orchid hobby!

Awesome! I'll have to look at your Ping Tung Gold, I've never found anyone else that has one.

Not a correction, but there is a registered name for the the Raisin Pie cross now (the way you wrote it is totally right for the cross), it's Paph. Hysinying Alien.

Thanks! That's much easier to write and remember!

I knew I saw someone here had one! I read the tags to a bunch there at Home Depot and this was the only one I could remember hearing of.

Mine is a real trooper, and has stayed pretty small.
I can't find them ANYWHERE online, which is frustrating. Do you know the vendor of yours?

I'll check all the tags when I get home and let you know tomorrow morning. The flowers are so tiny and so cute!

Phal. Ping Tung Gold is readily available. It really should not be hard to find

I will have some at the Central Florida Show this weekend in Orlando at the Fairgrounds.

It is a pretty yellow with almost a white center. Yellow Phals usually bloom later and anyone wanting yellow should look in late March and April, which is when they bloom.

I mean when I search online for "ping tung gold" or "phal ping tung gold", nothing comes up except for threads on here.
