jeffg, thanks for the Link
Unfortunately Orchids transport from US to UK could be.... Tricky and Expensive for me.

Though for anyone else searching for that particular beauty it could come in very handy. If you do recommend them you may also want to make comment in Vendor Feedback.

And those plants he has do look rather spectacular! Worth a look if nothing else

If I can just echo Hedge - speak to Burnham if you want their Phal Mini Mark and ask them to bring it to you at the show - I'm fairly certain there were people doing just that at the show on the Wirral in Feb. Plus, I wanted a Sharry Baby, so when I spoke to them at the show they said they'd look - they had one back at the nursery, and kept it on one side for me. I bought some bark at the same time for no extra shipping.
I'm going to the Tatton Park show on the Saturday - by Sunday all the best plants will be gone and I missed out on a Mini Mark last time because of it!

Cheers Nic
I appreciate the concern.

Currently waiting on a reply from Peter White to confirm the reservation of an Phal. equestris alba for pick up at the show. Wont be in flower, but that'll just make me care for it more.

Been so tempted to get back in contact with Burnham though, and reserve a Mini Mark for the Saturday as well.... Though if I do that it's over half my budget for the show gone already
For now I'm trying for the equestris first, and it looks like I have one... possibly... maybe!

... And hubby keeps reminding me "What if you see something you like more at the show" I guess he's right.

Well you never know I may just win the lottery tomorrow. (mind you would have to buy a ticket first )

Scanning through posts I didn't notice anyone mentioning Phal. bastianii. For me, this Phal. grows like a weed and flowers prolifically.

Though these days they seem to be everywhere, Phal. bastianii still charms me like few orchids. You won't regret having one!

I'm finding the species side of things fascinating. Though the synonyms can get confusing.

I've made a promise to myself actually, no more Phals until I have at least one species.... Wonder how long that will last... Oh yeah about three weeks
Doesn't stop me from buying other Noid Orchids though

You'll have to use lots of will power - there are so many lovely Phals around at the moment! I find it so much easier to resist now I have some species but it's still tempting!!
