Default Are these zygo pbulbs ok?

I just got my first zygo yesterday (ordered it on sale from Hausermann's). When it arrived I took it out of the pot, checked out its roots, and cut away the rotten ones. There are still a good amount of healthy roots left.

However, two of the pseudobulbs have a black ring around the top, right where the foliage grows out of. A couple photos are below.

Are these pbulbs rotting? Should I remove them?

Your Zygo looks fine. Those black rings are where the leaves will eventually detach from the older bulbs.
