If you do decide to use NEEM Oil, do not put the plant in the sun. It'll burn

yup it's scale...
neem oil will work. I also used pyrethrin on my phal and that definitely works better than neem

Default Horticultural oil

I tried to find Safer's for scales today. They had all kinds of safers for different bugs except for scales! So, I decided on the horticultural oil. I hope this was a good decison. Anyway, does anyone know if I should use 2 tsp per litre of water? or is this too strong for my phals? This rate was for ornamental woods....Again, I'm confused!
Thanks

I have Safer's End All concentrate. People in my orchid society are using it. pyrethrin products work basically the same, it makes the nervous system of the bug go all funky and they die

Smartie, now that I've bought the horticultural oil, should I use the rate that's quoted for the ornamental woods? 2 tsp per litre? Or was this a bad decision. It said it was for scales.
Thanks
FT
