It loves the strong sun shine and doesn't like artificial lighting, so I wouldn't suggest putting it into viv.

I agree. it is not a desert orchid!

With strong lighting and air movment I think it maybe possible.

However the stolons on these guys will drive you crazy! they have long stolons that may not be good for a vivarium, taking up a lot of space

Oh bummer And it was so tiny too! Any other paph/phrag suggestions that are small in growth and flower or with short spikes?

Pleurothallis tribuloides is different. I haven't bloomed mine yet, but it is sooo tiny! My smallest orchid.

I have one of those as well. I recieved it from Andy's Orcids in bloom, but now is in growing leaves mode. I don't know if I would consider it wierd, judge for yourself:

Paph Vanda M. Pearman would be a canidate. I think someone here already has one in a terrarium. All the brachy paphs have short spikes, and some of their hybrids do too.

My phrag schlimii is my smallest phrag, but the spikes can be 30cm tall
Phrag pearcei is also a small phrag and the spikes are only 15cm.
