Need help for Swiss Beauty Orchid
Aloha!
I have a swiss beauty orchid that I sadly had to leave with a friend for awhile, she put it outside, it got chomped by bugs and didn't get enough water or any fertilizer. Now I need to try and rehab my poor orchid but don't know what to do, should I cut off all the brown, chomped leaves? Should I fertilize or repot? I don't want to mess up because I love this plant and want it to survive and be healthy again.
Thank you!!!

Hello and welcome to the OB.
How badly damaged is it? It sounds like it just needs to be cleaned it up, repoted, watered and fertilized as usual.

Thank you Joann!! I'm excited to learn more about orchids, I LOVE them!
My poor swiss beauty has brown ends of many of the leaves, should I cut them off or cut the entire leaf off or???
I'm looking on the site for instructions how to repot...haven't done it yet with any of my orchids. Someone said to get orchid bark, which I think I can buy here. Also said to use miracle gro, is that a good fertilizer?
Thank you so much for helping me and for your expertise!!

Aloha Erce!
When I googled it they said "It is an unusual hybrid combining four orchid genera: odontoglossum, miltonia, oncidium and cochlioda." I'm keeping it indoors now, on a window sill with light but out of the sun, and giving it a lot of water.
