Those are spectacular!!! Especially that laevigatum--although does this qualify as a philippinense? I wasn't aware they made it into a new species.....

Thanks
Thank you, guys and gals, I appreciate the feedback. Per the Laevigatum, I think you are correct Orchidman77 / David - in that it is philippinense var. Laevigatum. The tag just said Laevigatum, but my research indicated what you noticed. Man, I can just stare down at that plant and get hypnotized...

Humidity
My M-I-L, who finally realized the hopelessness of our (her daughter, my wife, is co-addicted) condition and stopped trying to slow us down, gifted a "water atomizer" - that burns through some water, probably a gallon a day - adding what looks like the dry ice smoke to the room. Not sure of exact humidity #'s, but I know that it has helped a lot - raised RH significantly in the grow room. I have the Masd.'s sitting beneath it, and finally they seem happy and are blooming.

Wow. That is one amazing humidifier!! I need to get one.
That phil is absolutely beautiful. I've seen many people complain that they couldn't get their phil to bloom....is there anything you do to stimulate spiking?

Yeah, I doubt I would be able to grow Masd's in my living room, at least not well. My RH only hovers around te 55-40% range, with some dips going as low as 35%
I keep all my high humidity stuff in a small room I built in the basement (65-80%), but just don't have the light wattage down there to grow Phrags
