Should I increase pot size for Cym and if so how much?

Brian the orchid guy was great, but check out the guy from NZ who takes a chain saw to split up a cym...just awesome. Makes me feel a little crazy about trying to be so careful with my plants.

Hi rosie, sorry for the late reply. You may find that after trimming off the broken and/or dead roots the plant will fit nicely straight back into the original pot. If so, I'd stick with that, otherwise a pot only a little bit wider.
