Was it maybe a Hoya?

I love hoyas too. Mine hasn't fowered since I repotted it a couple of years back though. Keeps growing well so I hope it will flower again one day.

I am glad you were able to help also ;) what made this plant so great to me was that scent, I had that plant downstairs and my room was upstairs, I can remember waking up in the middle of the night and smelling that thing, for some reason the scent seemed to be much more powerfull at night.

Did you know Rosie that those things liked to be kept root bound? I think maybe if you repotted it in a bigger pot, that it might had something to do with it. just a guess!

Thanks Jeffery, yeah I did know and I'm pretty sure that's why it stopped flowering. It was in desperate need of a bigger pot and I only had one that was probably too much bigger. I'm hoping that if I just let it keep growing it will eventually fill the pot it's in and start flowering again... might be a wait but the plant's looking good and healthy so I'm content to wait a bit more.
