The plant in this thread is definitely not Epiphronitis Veitchii. The flowers are similar but this plant is far too rigid and robust. It is a reed stem Epidendrum type, probably a hybrid, and it is unlikely you will make a more precise identification without information from the grower.
I think you are right but it might be just plain Radicans which is a reed stem Epi,See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epidendrum
