I've seen them on their website but I have never tried them. I do know one thing....repotme.com isn't the type to sell gimmicks.

I know this question is from a while ago but it only has one response. Can anyone share share some experience with the dual core oxygen pots? I would think you would need a supply of the inner net pot as the roots grow out and you cut the net away.

I've grown orchids in net pots and in clear plastic pots but not combined like the oxygen dual core. I think it's a good concept though. I thought I would like net pots by themselves but they're too dry for phals and they're too light to hold top heavy cattleyas. I like the slotted clear plastic pots for phals. RePotMe carries some good ones. When the phals are in bloom I put the clear plastic pot in a decorative ceramic outer pot and I've noticed that the roots grow even faster when they're in those pots. Cattleyas, laelias and encyclias I grow in either unglazed natural clay pots, wood baskets or mounted.

I use this method fairly often whenever I want to increase humidity at the roots. Sometimes it's mounted orchids that want more humidity instead of potted ones, but it's the same concept.

All they are is a standard net pot slipped inside a clear plastic pot. Interesting idea, but nothing I would pay extra for. I'm currently doing this with some of my Masdies where they are in a net pot hanging by the rim in a small glass bowl with some water to boost humidity.

Cheers.
Jim
