Default Miltoniopsis doing something new at last... is it a new lead growth?

Well my first Miltoniopsis had bad roots from the start and has done nothing but shrivel in the 8 months I've had it (still alive though).

My second attempt has great roots but was still not really doing anything... until now.

What is it... I'm guessing a new lead growth but I'm not sure... what do you guys think

I'm so excited that it's actually doing something.
