Hooot, Welcome to OB!

Also it was awarded an HCC by the AOS in 1998. So instead of reading MCC/AOS, it should be HCC/AOS.

acording to orchid wiz this one needs shade light level 1500- 2500 foot candles a tmperature of about 78 in daytime and about 62 at night medium should be kept consistantly moist no drying out but not soggy this is during growing season ... gradualy reduce water in fall.

It also says that this one needs humidty to be at about 80%..... They also say that it is very important not to repot uless they have new roots already starting to emerge as many of this kind or orchid will stop growing for 1 to 2 years when reppoted before this is in progress ..... this is what they mean by the term sulking when talking about orchids and with some can be fatal

OH and by the way welcome Hooot
