Default Bllra. Peggy Ruth Carpenter 'Morning Joy' is too dry?

I recently bought this Bllra. Peggy Ruth Carpenter 'Morning Joy' HCC/AOS (Tahoma Glacier x Milt. Purple Queen) I'm noticing a wrinkled appearance and in some leaves there is this split in the middle of the leaf. I have pictures which I'm going to post so you can see what I am talking about.

The black in the first picture is actually just a light brown I don't know why the spot looks so dark. Also ignore the stuff in the background It's like 2am here so I had to go into the kitchen to be able to have enough light to take the pictures.
