You never know - the year before last one of my cyms bloomed 3xs - spring, late summer, and then winter lol. of course it hadn't bloomed in a couple of years and may have been making up for lost time.

So - if it were my cym, I would try not to count on the new growth being spikes, but I would still be watching and hoping lol. And if they aren't spikes, you have lots of new growth that may spike later in the year
