These guys need high humidity as well as moisture. They have very thin leaves.

I do have one hybrid Miltoniopsis and I found it with 2 spikes today. I thought that it will be difficult to bloom it, but it was not so difficult.

Have you repotted it when you bought it? How strong is the lightning? How do you water it (soaking, spraying the surface, other....)?

It will be great to see the pictures of the whole plant and the yellowing leaves.

They should do okay under those temperatures, but prefer a bit cooler 55-60F at night. They naturally drop some leaves this time of year, don't worry those are from old growths. As far as repotting, they need to be repotted annually or they will go downhill quickly. Some people pot in early spring, others in the fall. I pot in the fall with success.
I think you are doing okay, they need a good amount of moisture when it gets warmer and you have to monitor that. Don't let them dry out, but not soggy either.

My opinion - you have problem with the roots. Your potting medium looks like soil already. It is very old and decomposed. If you soak this medium for 10 min every 3 days it means that you have a swamp in a pot and the roots are rotted. Check them as soon as possible and change the potting medium.
