Help identifying a NOID / wrinkled pseudobulb

Hi everyone,

I just received a gorgeous orchid for a housewarming. I think it's an Oncidium or Ondontocidium variety from the way the flowers look, but I'm not 100%.

Can anyone help me ID this orchid? (Photos attached.)

I also noticed some slight wrinkling on the newer pseudobulb. I'm worried about root rot. It's planted in sphaghnum moss, and when I first touched it, it felt very moist, almost wet. The plastic pot was in a decorative pot that doesn't have drainage - and was in so tight, I almost couldn't get it out of hte decorative pot. I've left it for now by the window so it can hopefully air out. The florist had also put that green dye powder all over the top.

Any thoughts? I didn't want to repot it or pull it out for fear of affecting the blooms. (Photos attached.)

Is that definitely a newer pseudobulb? The one behind it looks fine. My policy usually is that if a plant seems unhealthy, it should be repotted regardless of whether or not it's in bloom. Because, it's better to save a plant's life than to leave it for the blooms and risk it dying. Plus, you can always put the spike in a vase and it will last a while. HOWEVER, I'm not so sure this guy has rot, judging by the nice pseudobulb in the back. Definitely though, you will want to let it dry out, and leave it out of the decorative pot.

hybrid of odontoglossum and cochlioda I believe
wonderful plant, seems to be an easy grower/bloomer
Older pbulbs will wrinkle slightly.

I think you're right, Joe. I had assumed the wrinkled bulb was a newer one, but it's likely the older one. The other bulb is very healthy and plump looking, so maybe I'm overworrying.

It likes medium light, and to not dry out completely.
Mine actually blooms nicely in a north facing window.

Gorgeous flowers - and I agree with WhiteRabbit , the bulbs do wrinkle, in fact on some of my Odo alliance plants the old bulbs seem to act as supply / stores for the newer ones
