As Joe said Coir does not work for everyone, but if you have had it in that for 7 months and the plant is still doing well (it looks healthy in the pic) then it's probably fine.
I agree that you need a hole in the bottom of the pot though. It needs to be able to get air to the roots. I saw some pots in my local garden center recently being sold as 'orchid pots' which had no hole in the bottom... I just don't understand that because I don't know of an orchid which grows well without one or more. In fact some pots have inadequate holes and I usually drill them out to be bigger.
