Default Repot when growing seed pod

Hi guys...

I fall in love into orchids when my partner bought me a phal for my birthday last Dec 09. Then I bought few more. I pollinated them on 8 Jan 2010. And it seems working!!! Seed pods are growing (as pictured). That are seed pods, aren't they?

I want to repot them, to give better and fresh energy for further growth. Is it okay to repot while the plants grow seed pods?

Thank you!!!

Yes, those are developing seed pods. They can take up to a year to mature on a Phalaenopsis.

I don't recommend repotting them, the seed pods may drop.

Thanks for that....

So, does it mean I can't do anything (ie not repot but cut different spike to boost more flowering?) to these plants until the pods are mature?

Thanks hips!!!

Making seed takes energy. Recovering from repotting can take energy as well. Phals are pretty tough and can take a little stress, just don't overdo it.
